how to create mail merge from excel address spreadsheet

Please help me to run mail merge from excel address
spreadsheet. I have looked for hours through "help" on
computer but can't find how to get this to print out
envelopes from my spreadsheet automatically. I have Word
97 Office. Appreciate a step by step guide. Thanx.
