How to create CD from ISO Image

Does anyone know how to use the built in software to
create a CD from an ISO Image? When I try to put 3rd
party software on my laptop to use it for this purpose it
does not detect I have a burner.

You can't convert an ISO CD image into a CD with the XP built-in
software. There is an add in you could try, but I've never had much
luck with it.

If you bought a burner, it should have come with a burning program.
Most mastering programs (all the ones I've personally used) are able
to convert ISOs to CDs. If you have such software, I suggest you
click that little used button on the toolbar, labeled Help. Amazing
what you'll find in there.

The built in software does not do such esoteric things - it is a very
basic way of making simple data (or audio) disks. Get the free
isorecorder program from
