When I was using Win 98 or Win ME, I used to be able to
create a Startup Disk to allow me to boot up my computer
from the diskette to perfrom various tasks. When it is
booted from the startup disks, it allows me to select to
boot with CD-Drive Support, Step-by-Step, etc.

Can someone please tell me how can I create the same
Startup boot diskette from Win XP ?

Regards

The Windows XP installation CD is also a "startup disk"
and contains the tools necessary to perform repairs.

No such animal. First reference in other post is not a boot disk. It
only provides a way to boot WinXP if the boot sector becomes corrupt.
It is still booting the installed WinXP.

The WinXP CD is bootable and is the closest thing to the boot disk of
Win98.
