How To Create a Data Form in Word

This is elementary, but Word documentation and Help are far from clear. I
have a simple billing form in which I want to insert a pop-up field that will
contain more than the limit of 25 entries. So a data form field is required,
but every time that I try to create one, it asks for the record and field
delimiters but gives no way to actually enter the data (which I am not going
to enter one record at a time since that defeats the purpose of Cut and Paste
for a large table). Are there instructions anywhere at all that outline in
simple terms how to create a data form field, input the data, and actually
use the form? Functionality without user-friendly documentation: That is
Microsoft at work.

Word forms are actually very simple. The key is laying out your form, then
using the form toolbar to insert the fields. To USE the form you have to
protect the document first using Tools, Protect. Everything you should need
to know is in the link below.
