how to count cells with specified background and value?

I have a range of cells with different background color and values. I need to count orange cells (colorindex=40) AND value=A. Can anyone help?

Link was usefull, tkanks Bob. The solution is:

=SUMA((AM$7:AM$38="A")*(colorindex(AM$7:AM$38)=40))

of course ColorIndex Function should be inserted at first.

Is SUMA a local language version of SUMPRODUCT?
