I have a document showing "tracked changes". Now I want to copy the text into
a another document - and would like to keep the trached changes displayed in
the new document.

How can that be done?

Save a copy of the document with a different name. If you don't want all of
the document, delete the parts from the copy that you do not want (either
with track changes turned off during the deletion or, selectively accept
those deletions).

Thanks. The problem is that I want my text with the tracked changes showing
put into a table... i.e. I need to make an actual copy of the text.

Hi DianePDavies,

In active document turn on TRK (track changes) then CTRL A (select all) or
select part of document and press ALT F3 and save to Autotext as "1" or any
name you fancy!

Go to document screen where you wish to paste the selection and make sure
TRK (track changes) is off.

Then play the autotext by typing the name (in this case 1)
1 press F3 key to play named autotext 1.

Rather than using 'copy' and 'paste' use 'Insert' > 'File' instead ... it
worked for me.

In the document that you want the 'tracked changes text' to be placed, first
of all make sure track changes isn't on. On the 'Insert' menu select 'File',
locate the file that you want to insert, click 'Insert'.
