How to copy object & paste it to multiple slides using title master!
Somehow, involves shift key!

If you simply paste an item onto the slide master it will appear on all your
slides (you might have to reapply the master). Not quite sure if you mean
something more subtle that I am missing!
 
What I'm trying to apply is a logo. Thought it was supposed to work the way
you describe but I can't get it to work like that.
 
Make sure you put the logo on both the slide master and the title master. If
you don't have a title master, go to View|Master and then to Insert|New
Title Master.

The title master is what is applied to your slides that use the title slide
layout. The slide master is applied to slides that use any of the other
layouts (title + text, title + content + text, etc.).

Also check the slides using Format|Background and make sure you haven't
selected "omit graphics from master."

If you place something (an image) on the Master it gets applied to all
slides unless you specifically tell it not to. Any chance you have that
option set in the "Slide Background" settings?
