How to copy aQuery to a new Table?

I have a database in a Table, a report based on that same Table and a Query
based on that Report.
After two months or so I like, after some new data input, to save the Table
into a new Object Table. What is the best way for the Report and Query to
follow the new Table whitout recreating the original Report & Query?
Thankyou for your comments. I use MS Office Access 2007.

Your phrasing is wrong when it comes to the elements of an Access database.
A database contains tables, not the other way around. Queries are not based
on reports - again backwards.
The flow of data would be from table through a query to feed a report for
display or printing.
I think you want to use a new table as data source for your query for the
report. First thing is to back up the database. Two copies is better. If
all if the fields are the same you can open query in design view, click on
icon 'Show Tables' and select new table. Click on the pull down of the grid
table row and select the new table. After making all the selections click in
the old table above the grid and delete the old table.
Run the query before saving to test.

Now I have a question. Why do you feel the need to save the old table into
a new table? It affords no data protection as they both are in the same
file and in the same drive.

Karl,
You are right my phrasing is wrong.
To answer your question: My boss wants to keep the older information in a
separate Table. Thankyou.

My boss wants to keep the older information in a
separate Table.

If your boss wanted to ensure that your database was more vulnerable to damage
and less convenient to use, this would make sense.

It's a BAD IDEA.
It will not have any benefits.

Can you explain to your boss that what s/he wants to do is simply wrong? Or
get some better rationale than "he wants it"?
