How to convert inches to centimeters in margins? My teacher told my in
centimeters the margins he wants but the margin settings are all in inches.
I don't want to have to manually calculate the difference every time.

Littlefield,
Don't know if it will help but in my Dutch version I can go to Tools -
General Tab - in the units at the bottom I can choose centimeters or inches.
I think that even when you are in inches you can still put centimeters in
the box (in your case File - Page Setup - Margins - type in x cm and hit
enter, Word will convert them to inches and vice versa.

You can type the value in centimeters (for example: 2 cm); Word will convert
it as you click OK to close the dialog box.

Tools | Options | General: Measurement units. Or, if you don't want to
change your default, you can just type in the amounts in centimeters and add
cm, and Word will do the conversion for you.

I forgot to mention I use Word2007 so I didn't see the menu you mention.
But from other posts I see I can just type in cm. seems so obvious, so now I
feel stupid.

In Word 2007 it's Office Button > Word Options > Advanced > Display > Show
measurements in units of ....
