The DVD player on our computer works very well but we
aren't able to connect the computer to the TV. The cable
seems to be the right one but why doesn't it work then?
Maybe we first have to enable the system to work together
with the TV, but how? Who can help us?

Are you using baseband or S-Video? If S-Video the TV must support it, many
don't. If baseband you may need a SCART adapter cable. In your video card
software you may have to enable dual head display.

Usually the options are buried somewhere in the dialogs for your particular graphics adapter. In
'Display Properties', select the 'Settings' tab, then the 'Advanced' button.

Look for device selection or something similar.

Check the website of your video card manufacturer as well.
