How to connect 2 PCs with cable on windows.
The 2 PCs having Built-in Ethernet Card.

MotherBoard : Celeron Desktop Board.
OS : Windows 98, XP , 2000(any)

With Cable How to connect 2 computers. Kindly Answer Me

If you only want the two machines connected, you will need to use a
crossover ethernet cable. On each machine, you need to configure a common
protocol ( TCP/IP ) You then need to uniquely address each machine (
192.168.0.1 and 192.168.0.2 respectively ). This is the very minimum you'll
need.

Another way, maybe better for the future, would be to buy
a cheap 4-port hub, then use normal RJ45 patch cords
(rather than one rolled patch cord). Even if the units
are 80-100' apart the hub can sit in the middle, work
fine.

You will need to assign IPaddresses and protocols to each
unit, as mentioned in the other responses.
