how to configure network printer

helo guys

pls tell me know how to configure network printer. not in the
machine i want to configure pure network which is having own NIC.

what r the things to be need what protocal to be used for network
protold and how to confiure.

This will depend on the printer and networking device used. HP printers,
for example, often come with an internal card that supports many network
protocols; less-expensive external devices that can be added to a
non-networkable printer may only support TCP/IP or LPR printing.

For most ethernet capable printers you can simply use the Add Printer wizard
and create a standard TCP/IP port:
