Hi, I use Winzip, I used to be able to right click on a file to download
then I would receive a box to "open or save" to my destination, it would
download then I would unzip to the file I wanted it to. Now this does not
work, I have to right click "save target as" then go to the file in Windows
Explorer and unzip from there. I have gone to the section "edit file type"
and click on "confirm open after download" and that does not work, I just
want to get my dialog box back to let me download and unzip in one stroke of
a mouse, not download then go to the file. Any suggestions I would
appreciate. Thanks. Judie

Judie,

Re-check if you have tried the same procdure [for ZIP files]

To get the download dialog box, enable the "confirm open after download" option for that filetype:

Click "Start" -> "Program Files" -> "Windows Explorer".

Then click "Tools" -> "Folder Options".

Change to the "File Type" tabs.

Scroll down to locate the file type. Highlight the filetype and click the "Advanced" button.

Then check the option "confirm open after download".

If this does not help, set the "NoSelectDownloadDir" to "0"

Judie,

Somewhat confused. Don't you get the download dialog when you use "Save Target As"?
