how to concatenate docs into one word doc

What tools allow you to easily concatenate all the word docs in a folder into
one word doc? Can this be done in MS Office, or other tool? If so, what
tool(s)?

for a macro that does this for you in Word.

Depending on how many files & how frequently you need to do this, it may be
just as easy to create a new blank doc, then go to Insert>File, Ctrl+Click
the files in the order to be inserted, then click the Insert button.
