How to combine two home directories

If I log into my local computer account, I am in one home directory. If I log
into my domain account, I am in another home directory. Is there a way to
convince Windows to let me combine those home directories? Is there a way to
use the same home directory, no matter how I log in?

By "home directory", do you mean "Profile"?

You could point your local account to your domain account user profile on
your machine (and give the account full control.).. That way - no matter who
you log in as, it uses the same directory under "Documents and Settings" to
put things in/run things from.

If you mean some sort of drive mapping.. The domain logon script would
control it when you logged into the domain and the local script (if any) or
persistent mapping would handle it when you log in locally.
