If I bought a computer from a pawn shop, the first thing I'd do is format
and reinstall all my stuff. You never know what the old owner had on there,
what might have been deleted, customized, or corrupted. Might as well do it
now, before you start adding your stuff to the computer.

If I bought a used computer, the first thing I would do with it
is reinstall the operating system. You have no idea how the
computer has been maintained, what has been installed
incorrectly, what is missing, what viruses there may be, etc. I
wouldn't want to live with somebody else's mistakes and problems,
and I wouldn't recommend that anyone else do either.

Ken,
I've got one of these wonderful Tablet PCs, a Toshiba. No CD no Floppy. I
have a buyer, but want to remove all personal info from it. Is running
Sysprep enough to give the next user the complete out of hte box experience?
