How to change text field sizes with Visual Basic in Access 2000

I am trying to generate reports with a text field that will vary in line
count dependent on the changing number of text lines used for each record. I
have never used Visual Basic or the expression builder before, so please
explain in very simple terms. Thanks.
 
Usually you just set the text box and the section to Can Grow: Yes. Doesn't
this work for you? Are you expected something else?

Thanks for the help. I am relieved to solve my problem without having to
learn Visual Basic. That undertaking is more involved than I am able to be at
this point.
