Pse can anyone help! I have been struggling since July to get my ROM Drives
to work again. I keep getting the message "Windows cannot read CD, it may be
corrupt etc" and since nobody was able to see what was causing it, I
continued my own investigation and found when entering "Setup" that my ROM
drive's location has been switched from IDE/ATAPI to SCSI. I do not have an
SCSI Interface! I suspect this may be the cause of my problem. Can you
please tell me how to correct this?

Reset the BIOS,power off pc,remove the battery (at this point one should
locate the CMOS jumper pin on the board, move it from 1-2 to 2-3 for .30
seconds or so,then back to 1-2 position),if you cant locate it,remove battery
for 5 minutes or so.Replace battery, start pc,you'll need to reset basic BIOS
settings, date, time, video etc. This resets BIOS to "as it left the
factory,updates
are saved however"...
