How to change measurement units from inches to centimetres in Pow.

Would it be possible to change the default settings in PowerPoint 2002 from
inches into centimetres and if so how?

The centimetres inches thing is controlled by
start > settings > control panel > regional and language options > customize
numbers > measurement system > metric / US
