How to change hyperlink source ?

I have a word based procedure document which contains various hyperlinks to
other procedures and associated templates. I found out that once I moved the
document together with associated procedures and templates to other folder
structure. None of the hyperlinks work anymore.

In Excel spreadsheet, I can simply select Edit->Links and the click the
"Change Source" button to select a new "full path" source. This fixes my
problem and all hyperlinks work in the new folder structure.

Question: Is there a similar method in Word to allow me to change the
hyperlink source s.t. all my hyperlinks will work in a new filder structure
like Excel ?

PS: I don't want to manully change each hyperlink in the master procedure
document because there are too many procedures and 10-30 hyperlinks in each
procedure to change.

Any asisstance will greatly be appreciated.

Hi Wellie

Word doesn't behave the same as Excel in this regard.

Working on a copy of your document would probably be a good idea for this.

However, if you do Alt-F9, you will expose all the field codes. You can then
do search and replace to search for, say c:\this folder\ and replace it with
d:\that folder\.

When you're finished, do Alt-F9 to toggle back to displaying field results.

Hope this helps.
