How to change default "save as" in Outlook 2007?

How do I set the default "save as" in Outlook 2007 to .msg format? The only
answer I could find online discussed saving as Unicode. I tried that, but it
still defaults to html every time I save a message.
I never save emails as html, so I have to go to the drop-down menu every
time I save a message (which is multiple times a day). There must be a better
way.

Drag and drop the message from the Inbox to the target folder, it will
be stored as .msg.
