How to burn 2 projects to one DVD?

How to burn to DVD-r two (or more) MM projects? I have a couple of
short, complete (with titles and end credits) MM projects that I'd like
to appear on one DVD, back-to-back, perhaps with a brief fade to black
between them.

What is the best way to achieve this?

I'm using MM 2.1 which does have DVD-burning capability, of course.

Thanks in advance for all suggestions.

Papajohn isn't the main thing about MCE2005 that it actually includes the
DVD authoring software but is simply linked to WMM? That was my
understanding anyway but I have never worked with or seen it to know for
certain.
And if the answer there is yes then can the files be rendered and then
manually imported into the authoring program as those of us do that don't
have MCE2005?
I know you don't actually have that version either but thought you may have
some insight on these questions.

Right about my not having that version to check... my info from Microsoft
and Sonic is that it's like the plug-in for Photo Story 3.... you get an
extra option in the saving wizard, a one button main menu with no options to
make changes to it.. and a burned disc.

If you want more than that, it's off to your DVD software as usual... my
recommendations on that type of plug-in is to use it if you have it and want
to, but not to purchase it as an extra. Put the money into the DVD software.

It's a Sonic Plug-in, and not all versions of the MCE come with Sonic DVD
software, so I think it's not really tying into the main DVD software...

Ok maybe I was mistaken then.
I knew it was a sonic plug-in but I thought that MCE2005 also came with the
full version of Sonic.
I definitely agree with your assessment though that purchasing such a
plug-in is a waste of money and your better off going with the full
authoring program.

In the case of an MCE machine, it comes with DVD software... sometimes Sonic
like on my Toshiba, but other software on other brands... it's up to the
OEM... so there wouldn't be a reason to buy DVD software. It's more about
burning a blank disc only to have to turn around and feed the movie into a
DVD project... may as well skip the disc option.

It would be handy if you truly wanted whip out a disc with one movie and put
it in the mail as quickly as possible, with no need to a personalized menu
or more videos on it...

Ok then it is the way I thought.
So then the answer to the original posters question is to save all the
shorter movies he/she's talking about to the HDD and import them into
whatever DVD program is already on the computer to put more than one on a
disk but using the "Burn to DVD" option from within WMM will not work if you
want more than one on a disk.

Wojo, save all the shorter movies to the HDD (am guesssing that is a
hard drive) in what format? WMV, AVI, other? Obviously I'd like to
avoid generation loss as much as possible.

Thanks for everyone's suggestions.

Yes HDD=Hard Disk Drive
For the best possible quality save the clips in DV-AVI format.
