How to block recipient's name being automatically appearing?

I've embarrasssingly been sending emails meant for my husband to a work
colleague who has been answering as my husband. They have the same name so
now his name keeps appearing when I type in my husband's name. I remember to
check for a while and then over time forget. How can I block his email from
automatically appearing (I also noticed that his name comes up rather than my
husband's and I am not given a choice of the two name - why does that
sometimes happen?). many thanks

Is this coming from the suggestion dropdown? If so, you can highlight your
coworker's email and hit the Delete key. Alternately you can change your
husband's entry in your contacts to something that doesn't conflict with
your coworker's name.
