I have xp home edition. I want to prevent users from accessing IE
options and control panel. And even if I have creat administrator user
accnt somebody can login using safe mood>Administrator and access all
the control panel items. I can't delete this accnt and it is not
showing under regular control panel users
The standard security practice is to rename the built-n Administrator
account, set a strong password on it, and use it only to create another
account for regular use, reserving the Administrator account as a "back
door" in case something corrupts your regular account(s). If you
haven't done so, you've left your computer wide open to anyone who sits
down at the keyboard.
