HOW TO AUTOMATICALLY OPEN MESSAGES RECEIVED IN HTML

J

John C.

the messages I receive are not opening in HTML and I have to manually select
that format to view them in HTML.

Is there a way to set a default so that all messages sent to me in HTML
will automatically open in HTML?

HTML messages will always be rendered if you don't have something interfering
with that.

I am using outlook express. Under the email options tab there is a box for
"read all standanrd mail in plain text" I have not marked that box. Is there
another place where I am missing?

When I get an email from, for example Southwest airlines, it is not in HTML
format and the links are not hot. I therefore can not go from that email
directly to the WEB to do something as simple as ask to unsubscribe from
their emails.

Thank you for your help!

I have no idea what it could be with outlook express... unless you have
antivirus scanning incoming mail.

I am using outlook express.

Then you should ask in an Outlook Express newsgroup. This one if for Office
Outlook. That's not the same thing and the two programs are unrelated.
