how to attach a received email(s) to a new email

I want to be able to attach emails in my "Inbox" to new emails I'm sending
out without using forward or saving the received email as a file first.

I think this used to be possible using windows 2000 and outlook at that
time. Now I am using XP Pro and Outlook 2003.

Hmm - my Outlook 2003 *does* have an Insert Item menu option; I use it
all the time...
