My 'Contacts' are all correctly alphabetized by last name, but my email
address books list some by last and some by first name.
I've tried reentering the names, changing various components, but the names
incorrectly listed by first name will not reform to last name.
HELP!
THANKS!
Bill

At the very least we would need to know your Outlook version even to hazard
a guess. Any other information you care to share would make our job easier.

My Outlook version is the one in MS Office Pro Edition 2003
I can not think of any other info that would help.
I have been online with MS tutorials, but they have not helped.
Thanks for your response
Bill

Go to Tools > E-mail accounts > View or change existing directories or
address books > Outlook Address Book > Change. > Set your sort order there
