Hello,
We're a non-profit organization and I was hoping to add ringtones to our
website to sell. If you know how to add it to a webpage that would be
great!!!!

Thank you.

do you know what kind of file the ring-tones are? How will people pay for
them and do you expect the people who buy them to download them to their
computers then transfer them to the phone, or will you expect them to go to
a web page with their phone?
I think we'll need some greater depth of information from you in order to
give you a good solid answer.

Hi Chris,

Thanks for the post. Well I was hoping to set it up on our website to where
they can pay online plus download easily. As for the file whatever that
would compatible for i-pods, mp3's and all cellphones if possible. What do
you suggest for someone who is just starting out.

I believe your website is pretty advanced.

Thanks again for all your help.

ok,
first you'll need to do some research on ringtones so you can make sure
you've got the right file formats and whatever.
next you'll need some kind of eCommerce facility that can assist in download
control.
in .ASP/ ASP.Net two carts I like (in the order that I like them best):
www.candypress.com www.comersus.net
In PHP I've used but not to the same extent: http://oscommerce.com/ and
http://www.zencart.com/
any of the above can tie into PayPal so you won't need a merchant account to
process your payments.

you might even want to look at www.PayPal.com and see if they've got some
kind of payment/ download control solution under their "seller tools"
section.
