hi all,

Powerpoint Office 2003 SP2, Wxp Pro SP2,

would appreciate help since i am getting nowhere fast. i know how to add a
function to a right-click sub-menu i.e.: Tools -> Customize -> Toolbars
(select Shortcut Menus) then click on Commands tab, choose the function i.e.
Paste Special but here is the rub. i could not locate the sub-set right-click
menu that appear within a Text Box on the slide. i have individually examined
Text, Tables, Draw and SlideShow but just could not locate the appropriate
right-click sub-menu to put my Paste Special in.

any help and advice would be appreciated.

thank you ,
jes

hello john,

thanks for answering that. it was indeed in the Draw -> Shapes menu, which
looked a heck more busy than the usual right-click menu that i got.

You may be happy to know that in PPT 2007, Ctrl+Alt+V brings up the Paste
Special menu. (I know I was!)
