How to add blank documents to data entry program

The most inane question, I know. When I hit Add New Document, the DocNum
button just says DocNum. I'm so befuddled.

Define "blank document"

Do you mean add a new blank record?

Do you meant you want to add a blank Word document? If so you have to
have the document created and saved first and then you would have to save a
link to the document, not the document data.
