How to Add A Text Watermark using Word 2000

I've tried many different ways trying to add a text watermark to my document
without any luck. I later discovered that the instructions were designed for
Word 2003 and Word 2007, therefore they would not work.

I would appreciate it very much, if someone could post the instructions s/he
used with Word 2000.

You might try asking in the group for Word, Windows XP has no method of
adding this feature to applications.
 
Open Word 2000, press F1 for help, click on the "Index" tab, type
"watermark" into the search box, click search.
