While installing Norton anti-virus 2003 and the program was
registering its components, there was a power cut and my computer was
prematurely shut down. Now whenever I booted up my machine, WinXP
apparently started well, but after all the screen and icons were
correctly displayed (even with the Norton Anti-virus shortcut
appearing on the desktop and icon in the tray) , the system locked up
with the keyboard seized up, though the mouse could be moved about.
But no program could be launched. How should I get my system back
working again?
I am just thinking of if I can be allowed to get into the system and
to uninstall Norton Anti-Virus 2003....
