How to abort Repair

There isn't much more that I can do to help with the problem, there is
only so much that can be done through these newsgroups. At this point I
am not even sure that you are looking at the right system partition and
boot.ini file. You mentioned earlier that you deleted a partition so
its difficult to know exactly what is going on with your setup.
Interupting the repair process and then deleting partitions has probably
left the setup program in a confused state.

Do a thorough search on all your drives for boot.ini. Make sure that
you have options to show system and hidden files enabled. Do you have
more than one boot.ini file?

Wow, it looks like I have a lot of them!
Here's are the paths:
C:\
C:\BOOTWIZ\UNINSTAL\bf93464f
C:\BOOTWIZ\UNINSTAL\231c5867
C:\BOOTWIZ\CHEKFILE
C:\WINDOWS1\pss (Backup file)
C:\WINDOWS\pss (Backup file)
C:\BOOTWIZ\231c5867
C:\BOOTWIZ\bf93464f

Even if I changed the boot file, I don't think that would change the setup,
would it?

The file we are looking for is "boot.ini". If you have more than one of
these you may have been looking at the wrong one to edit (as instructed
in an earlier post). Also, it looks like you didn't change your options
to display hidden system files because you report no boot.ini in your
reply, you should at least have one showing. At a a Command prompt
issue these commands, pressing <Enter> after each:

cd\
dir boot.ini /A:H

CD between your drives and issue the command on each of your drives or
issue it for each of your drives from c:, example:

dir C:\boot.ini /A:H
dir D:\boot.ini /A:H
dir E:\boot.ini /A:H

What is that "Bootwiz"? I have never used it, is it a third party boot
manager? Are you using it to boot your computer? If yes you might want
to uninstall it until you get things straightened out. Also report the
output of the following command:

set system
