How to abort install

My 80GB HD is setup in two equal 40GB partitions. I was
trying to intall XP Pro of both partitions. I get a blue
screen when I try to complete the install. Now, when the
computer boots, I must choose between an XP Pro Install
and a normal XP boot. Since the Install is the first
option, it defaults to that selection. This means I must
tend the computer during boot up in order to boot to XP
Pro. How do I get rid of the first option?

Hi,

Boot the good system. Start/run msconfig, go to the boot.ini tab. Select the
good entry, click on 'set as default'. Click apply/ok, reboot. Make sure it
defaults to the good installation. Go to msconfig/boot.ini once again, click
on 'check all boot paths', you should now be prompted to remove the invalid
entry.
