I'm using Word2003 and have a simple "box" behind some text. Actually, it's
behind a table which has text in it. The box got there by clicking Order >
put behind text.

Now I can't get the cursor to reach the box so I can click on the box and
alter its colors.

Is there a trick to clicking through the upper text/table to get the cursor
down to the box and select it?

Thanks,
George

Click the arrow on the draw menu. Now select directly or drag a selection
rectangle that includes the object you want to select.
