how secure are MDE files ?

Dont trust a client; how secure are my MDE files ? Anyway to get the source
code out ?
Any way at all to turn over the project to another programmer (prior to
paying me ?)

AFAIK, the text component of the code is removed from the MDE file so there
is no source code in the MDE. Hence you need to keep the MDB file in a safe
place for future mods.

IIRC, there was some posts that mentioned some third-party utilities
claiming to be able to re-construct the code out of an MDE but I don't much
about it.

conclusions.
