How ot remove a disabled add-in from Outlook 2007

Hang on there, before you jump in and tell me about the 'Tools : Trust
Centre...' or 'Help : Disabled Items...' please read the problem first...

I have just upgraded from Office 2003 to Office 2007. Everything ran fine
except form one thing, when I start Outlook 2007 I get an error telling me
that an Add-In (mobile Phone Tools 'C:\Program Files\mobile phone
tools\outl97.dll') cannot be loaded and has been disabeld by Outlook. Please
consult the manufacturer or uninstall the add-in.

I have done both.

The problem is that the add-in doesn't appear in the Trust center list as a
disabled add-in nor does it appear in the Disabled Items list.

So how, do I remove it from whatever Oitlook 2007 is using to load up ? I
have serached throught he registry for the text 'mobile phone tools' and
'outl97' and niether appear. I have done the same as a file content serach
wihtin the whole Office12 file directory.

Uninstall the mobile phone tools or update it with a version compatible with
Outlook 2007.

As I mentioned in my original text, I have uninstalled it !

Outlook still reports that the add-in is there, however, it' snot even
physically on the hard drive (ie I have uninstalled Mobile Phone Tools and
physically checked the file path that is reporte din the message via Outlook.
Yes, I have checked to make sure system and hidden files are shown to make
sure that it's not hiding in there !)

Is there a registry or file entry I can check to remove this add-in from
Outlook's list ?

Locate extend.dat and rename it to .old. This will reset the add-in registry
cache which might have confused Outlook during the upgrade. This file will
be recreated when you start Outlook. If you still get the same results do
the same with outcmd.dat
