How NOT to display inbox message before signing in?

I am using Outlook 2007. I found that without signing in, when I click
Inbox, all my previous messages (including title and contents) are
displayed, though new emails cannot be sent out. But that means anyone
who use my computer can read my old emails. Is there anyway to require
signing in before the inbox will be displayed?

Thanks!

For what mail account type? Why not simply lock your computer or logoff?
It's not just your emails they can access but also all you documents and
(ab)use all your other network and program rights.

Put a password on your .pst file to prevent unauthorized opening of Outlook. Once outlook is open, use a password protected screensaver to prevent access to any part of your computer when you walk away.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. All
unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
reading.

After furious head scratching, (e-mail address removed) asked:

It is my office email account, POP. I usually lock my computer, but I
am just curious about how to set Outlook so that it won't display my
emails without asking for signing in.

In case of a POP3 account you can password secure your pst-file. Right click
on the root of the folderset-> Properties-> button Advanced
