Hi

No......... !

Read this page carefully including links about security issues:

www.microsoft.com/protect

First three steps
1. Firewall
2. Windowsupdate
3. Antivirusprogram, updated

Extra important step:
4. Antispywareprogram

No.

Microsoft AntiSpyware is not a firewall.
Microsoft AntiSpyware is not an anti-virus product.

You need all three (firewall, anti-virus, anti-spyware)

And Windowsupdate including SP2.............!

Hi Deb - plun and Robin have already answered your specific question, but in
the broader sense of "How do I protect myself?" you might want to take a
look at my Blog, Defending Your Machine, here for some additional step you
can take (look at the end, particularly):

Hi Deb,
< Can Microsoft AntiSpy be the ONLY firewall and Antivirus I should run? >
Nope. No way.

MWAS is to protect and clean from spyware. Your firewall is to protect at
least against inbound attacks and scans. Your current, up to date Antivirus
protects against threats from the web, email, IM etc. Also please set your
Windows Update to catch and install Updates regularly.

May I suggest going to http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/default.mspx
for best practices. Be sure to watch the video!

.
No get a hardware firewall (most routers) if you have
high speed internet.

Is the windows firewall enough or should I install another firewall? And
what is the best firewall to install?

Windows Firewall is good enough for the average user.
