How long does the installation last?

I wonder how much does it take to install Windows Vista? I am worried that
if electricity in Singapore may cost higher, I'm just worried that my
computer may burn up!

It takes as long as it takes. On my fastest computer it takes about 30
minutes for a clean install, on my slowest it takes several hours for an
upgrade from Windows XP.

You need to allow 18gb of space during installation, the final size will be
smaller.

It took me a hour to install start to finish. Vista needs about 15 GB
when installing. That's because cab files need to be expanded, Vista
may backup other files during install, etc.. The final size should be
between 8-10 GBs.
