How is Outlook 2002 Folder List sort order controlled?

Am talking about Public Folders, Personal Folders, and Outlook Today in the
folder list. Most everyone wants Outlook Today on the top of the list, but
occassionally Outlook sorts it to the bottom. Have not been able to locate a
configuration setting or registry entry controlling this sort order.

I've had some luck by creating a new profile and adding in the services in
the order I wish them displayed. So, in your case, try adding the Exchange
account first, make it the delivery location, stop and restart Outlook, and
then add the Personal folders. You should see Outlook Today, then Personal
Folders, then Public Folders. It worked for me.
