how i open a file XLS extension[ exelspreadsheet file]

good afternoon have received a e-mail with a attachment, cannot open it, it
syas look under excel spreadsheet file. [ file extension XLS . have looked
under it, but caanot find the way to open it. what to do???

It sounds like you may not have excel installed on your pc.
