how i can calculate the total hours for overtime

i have really big problem i want to calculate the total hours for example i
have
time from =1:00 PM time to= 3:00 PM the total hours spended is 2 hours
what is the calculation i can use in query to solve my problem and it can be
right for all hours
i really need help urgent
