I only have home xp on my computer. Do I need to install Windows 2000 on my
computer before I can customize web database pages. Also, is it possible to
run both of these operating systems on one computer.

you can use xp home with FP2003 you just cant run a local server to test your db's...but you can publish to your host server and test it there.

Thanks for yor help. I'm new at this and if you could explain to me what you
mean by db's and host server I would very much appreciate it. Thank you very
much!

......??? Is this question about Frontpage or about Windows. Frontpage is *not*
an operating system, and your question would be better answered I think in a
Windows OS newsgroup.

However, yes you need Windows 2000 as the minimum OS for using Frontpage 2003.

Yes, I expect you can do a dual-boot system with Windows 2000 and Windows XP -
install each OS on a separate hard drive or partition. You'd need to ask a
specific windows newsgroup about dual boot operating systems for in-depth
information such as microsoft.public.windowsxp.client (there's also a general
windows group (covers all windows versions) on microsoft.public I think) or
similar (whatever group your host/isp/provider hosts on their newserver).

db = Database.

.....You need Frontpage 2003 before you can make web pages if that is what you're
asking. You don't need Windows 2000, Windows XP Home is fine.
