How does this work?

Not an XP question but I was sent it by someone and I'm trying to figure out
what's happening, does anyone know?

Open a word document and type:
= rand (200,99)
Press Enter and wait for 3 seconds....

Actually, I only get 150 pages. My word must have a problem )

=rand(s,p)<Enter> results in 'p' paragraphs of 's' sentences each
saying:
"The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog. "
