Both of your posts are there and both have answers to them. If you insist on
using the web interface then try looking on page 2, 3, or 4. This is a very
busy group and newer messages are posted all the time, dropping yours down
the list/page.

Unfortunately it works very poorly if you access it from the web,
as you're doing. It's slow and clunky, and hard to find what
you're looking for. Instead consider using a newsreader, such as
Outlook Express, which comes with Windows, or any other
newsreader you may prefer.

Why is Agent a 'real' newsreader??

Uh-oh, here we go with "newsreader wars!"

Agent is designed around reading/managing usenet groups with some
limited e-mail capability. OE is more of a hybrid email/usenet
program. Many prefer using Usenet with readers like Agent as they
more easily automate some tasks than OE.

To each their own.

Free Agent has limited email capability (it will send mail but not
receive it). Agent, on the other hand, is a complete email client as
well as an excellent NNTP (news) client. See at www.forteinc.com/agent
