How do you upload a video to a website

I am attempting to upload a video feature to my website to be played when a
person visits and clicks on to it. How do you do this; or is this possible?

open your site, start a new page, or an existing one, create a link to the
video file, save the page, publish the page and the video file. View the
page in your browser, click the link, the video will download and play.

If it is a large file put it inside a zipped folder (eg WinZip) and make the
hyperlinke to the zip folder, then when downloaded, unzip the file to your
desktop (or wherever) and double click the video file which will open the
media player and play the video.
