How do you turn off the Buop sound

Is there any way to turn off the Buop sound that goes off everytime you go to
an internet site in Internet Explorer. It's really annoying. Anytime I open
IE or go to almost any webpage, the Buop sound rings & it rings throughout
the office. I listen to music off the internet & MP3's off of my computer
throught the day. So it would be nice not to have the Buop sound go off
anytime I surf the net. Thanks for the help.

Hi,
Go to Control Panel> Sounds> Windows Explorer> uncheck "Start navigation"
and "Complete navigation."

Also, this sounds a little like the sound that Pest Patrol makes when it
blocks a cookie, but I'd be surprised to find Pest Patrol on an office
computer.
Anyway... http://www.pestpatrol.com/Support/Most_Popular_Solutions.asp
Look for "Turning off PestPatrol Sounds"

Hope this helps,
