how do you switch email identities in outlook?

I viewed the previous posting. There is no "accounts" button next to the
"send" button; so how do you switch identities?

Outlook doesn't have identities. If you want to have an Accounts button,
you need to have more than one account defined.

And without a Subject header and author, that tells nothing about
which post to which you meant to refer.

The Accounts button is provided to let you select which e-mail account
other than the default to send an outbound e-mail. For you to select
an e-mail account for sending an e-mail requires that you actually
have more than one e-mail account defined. The e-mail account has
nothing to do with identities (other than identities will have
separate e-mail accounts defined within them).. Outlook doesn't use
identities. It uses mail profiles. Use the Mail applet in Control
Panel.
