How do you stop Word 2003 starting in Safe Mode?

Word was crashing and I downloaded a hotfix. Now I cannot stop the old
message and Word still forces me to start in Safe Mode.
 
Many thanks for the link and tip. I loaded winexe as told and Word was Ok.
I have now renamed the normal.dot to normal.old.

Thanks a million. Much appreciated.
